The Dream Air and Dream Air SE have quickly become two of our most popular headsets, and the response keeps growing. Most recently, both headsets were very well received at the 2026 SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt, where sim racers tried them in the cockpit.
To get even more out of these small-form-factor micro-OLED headsets, we're adding a premium accessory for both: the Comfort Kit with Fiber Optical Cable. It brings together a hard strap with integrated on-ear headphones, a silicone face mask, forehead cushions in three thicknesses, and a 5 m fiber optical cable, built for long sessions and the most stable wired PCVR connection we offer.
The hard strap
The hard strap has a rigid frame with a goatskin leather. It spreads the headset's weight more evenly and rests on more points of your head, so the pressure is shared instead of concentrated in a few spots. Integrated on-ear headphones sit on the strap, so audio is part of the setup the moment you put the headset on.
The silicone face mask and forehead cushions
The kit includes a silicone face mask and forehead cushions in three thicknesses, so you can set the fit for your head shape.
The fiber optical cable
A standard DisplayPort cable carries the signal as electrical current through copper. The 5 m fiber optical cable in the Comfort Kit carries it as light. That keeps the digital signal more stable and makes it far more resistant to interference from other electronics around your PC. The cable is also thin, flexible and light.
Carrying the signal as light also means less heat. The box where the cables join stays under 30°C during use, so the cable stays cool through long sessions.
Compatibility
The Comfort Kit works with the original and the new wider face mask of the Dream Air, and with the ProFit face mask of the Dream Air SE.
Price and availability
The Comfort Kit with Fiber Optical Cable is priced at $349 and starts shipping in January 2027. Reservations open today at the link. Reservations are paid in full, and you can request a full refund at any time before the kit ships.

Is this the DMAS Hardstrap?
No. The Comfort Kit's hard strap is its own design, with integrated on-ear headphones. The DMAS Hardstrap is a separate product, expected in Q1 2027. If your Dream Air order includes a DMAS Hardstrap benefit, we'll email you about your options, including using it toward the Comfort Kit.
