Crystal clarity, now wireless.
Crystal Pro sends your GPU's native image straight to where you're looking, with no cable required. Wi-Fi streaming is built in; uncompressed Native Foveated Streaming runs over the optional 60G AirLink kit.
Native Foveated Streaming, Achieved Wirelessly.
Wireless VR compresses because it has to. These parts, working together, are how Crystal Pro doesn't — scroll to see them come together.

A channel with room to spare
60G AirLink, optional: two Room Antennas, 2×2 MIMO, up to 6 Gbps.
Eye-tracking that knows where to spend it
Ten IR emitters per eye, sampling 120 times a second.
A chip that keeps every frame in sync
Qualcomm XR2, with an identifier carried on each frame.
Glass lenses with room for the cameras
Eye-tracking sits inside the lens housing, not at its edge.
Panels worth sending it to
QLED, 17M pixels, Mini-LED local dimming, up to 120Hz.
Nothing compressed where you're looking
The GPU's own image, straight to the panels, no codec in between.
Every wireless headset compresses the image.
Crystal Pro doesn't — not where you're looking. Here's how.
Crystal Clarity, Now Wireless.
All wireless headsets compress the image — that's where artifacts, banding, and extra latency come from. With the optional third-gen 60G AirLink kit, Crystal Pro sends the GPU's native image straight to the panels in the area you're looking at, with no encode or decode step. Optional upgrade →
Eye-tracking finds the region. 60G AirLink skips the codec.
Ten infrared emitters per eye track exactly where you're looking, 120 times a second. With the 60G AirLink kit installed, that region gets the GPU's uncompressed image over a dedicated 60GHz link, so the bandwidth goes where your eyes actually are. Without the kit, Crystal Pro streams over Wi-Fi like any other wireless headset.

Figures apply to Crystal Pro with the optional third-gen 60G AirLink kit, sold separately.
Wi-Fi In The Box. 60G When You Want More.
Crystal Pro streams wirelessly out of the box over Wi-Fi, with a dedicated adapter included. For uncompressed Native Foveated Streaming, the third-gen 60G AirLink kit is an optional upgrade.

Wi-Fi streaming is built into the headset, not an accessory, and ships with a dedicated Wi-Fi adapter for a stronger link to your PC. It's the standard connection, and the fallback whenever 60G isn't in line of sight. The adapter also works with the original Crystal. Compatible with Steam Link 2.0.

Two Room Antennas you place in your room, for people who want the absolute best image. Sold separately as an add-on to Crystal Pro.

Two paths instead of one Optional kit
- Every 60GHz VR solution so far has used a single antenna sending and a single antenna receiving — one pipeline, so one blockage stops the signal.
- 60G AirLink uses two Room Antennas, both sending and receiving: two independent paths across the room at once. The first 2×2 MIMO 60GHz solution on a VR headset.
- The two antennas cover for each other if one is briefly blocked, and split the data stream for more bandwidth than any single-antenna system.
- Antennas on the headset extend past your head for clear line of sight, with infrared LEDs so both sides know where the other is and aim the signal directly.
- The one tradeoff: 60GHz doesn't pass through walls, like every headset using this band. Pimax Play helps you position both antennas for the best coverage.
The Crystal Name, Earned.
Glass aspheric lenses, carried over from Crystal, Crystal Light, and Crystal Super, paired with a new QLED panel built for this headset.
Glass over pancake, on purpose
Pancake lenses fold light back and forth inside the lens, losing at least 85% of it along the way. Glass aspheric lenses let light through once — under 1% loss — which is where Crystal Pro's brightness and contrast come from.

A panel built for this field of view
- Quantum-dot LCD (QLED), 2880 × 2880 per eye — 17 million pixels total, 35 PPD.
- 110° horizontal field of view, refresh rates of 72, 90, and 120Hz.
- Mini-LED local dimming across 576 zones per eye, 200 nits brightness.
- Eye-tracking sits inside the lens housing, not at the lens edge — better angle, better accuracy than pancake-lens placement allows.

Built To Be Reconfigured.
Crystal Pro tracks itself with SLAM 2.0, and every major part — faceplate, backstrap, audio, lenses — is designed to come off.
SLAM 2.0 — tracking that works in the dark
Four cameras, a motion sensor, and infrared illumination work together, so tracking no longer depends on room lighting the way earlier SLAM systems did.

Swap the faceplate to change what the headset can do:

Adds base-station tracking, still wireless over AirLink — Crystal Pro is the only wireless headset that keeps this option open.

Full-color passthrough with LiDAR depth sensing, for mixed reality.
- Backstrap, audio components, and lens inserts are all swappable independently of the faceplate.
Wear It Longer. Use It Anywhere.
Comfort built for long sessions, and — new for Crystal Pro — a way to use it without a PC at all.
A rigid backstrap, on purpose
It sounds backwards, but a rigid backstrap distributes weight more evenly than a soft one over a long session. The facemask and foam interface attach magnetically and swap in seconds; eye relief adjusts for glasses, or skip them entirely with optional prescription lens inserts.

Power off the headset, freedom on your head
- No battery built into the headset — power comes from an included 16,000mAh pack.
- Optional DisplayPort 1.4a cable for wired PC VR, running the panels at native resolution.
- Three remappable buttons, three microphones, off-ear speakers, with optional DMAS 2.0 earphones for higher-fidelity audio.
Not just a PC headset anymore
Crystal Pro runs PC VR — wired or over AirLink — and, built around a Snapdragon XR2 Gen1 chip, works as a standalone all-in-one headset too. Same headset, no PC required when you don't want one.
